Who else has experienced this?

Last night I was with a friend at a hospital clinic. I was staring into space when I suddenly saw the shadow of a tall person cross the waiting room. I immediately looked up to find myself completely alone in the room. Has anyone else had this kind of thing happen?

Update:

Cheers to all answerers, just wanted to clarify, my friend was in seeing the doctor at the time, it was just after dusk and I was completely alone in the watiting room to begin with.

Update 2:

Gopher: Ha Ha, very funny... Booga Booga!

YES, I have experienced this many times.

As I am a Nurse, this happens too often.

Yes, shadows appear from many different areas... windows, entrances, mirrors, etc., so it could have been someone going by who had already gone by the time you turned around to look... I wouldn't break my head about it! It happens! even sometime in the house, from a bird flying outside, etc... I know you saw a tall man! Could have been a doctor or a patient coming or leaving!

notably much... i'm having issues deleting mails, era... If i attempt to delete a mail that i've got study, curiously as though the mail is being deleted, and the little message "finished" seems on the backside left corner, however the mail keeps to be in my 'in-field'.. each and every so often, if I mark 3 or 4 (examine mark) i will delete them en-masse, yet bye and massive, there's a situation with Yahoo Mail.. different than for all else, it fairly is agonisingly sluggish to navigate to my in-field, and much extra so as quickly as I open a mail..

You know, i believe in good and evil spirits in this world that we live in. I had the experience of actually being confronted by an angel when i got car jacked and shot. This real person came up to me in the darkness and told me to pray the our father and that he was a preacher from Los Angeles and that he was lost. When the police came and ambulance, they were surprised to see that i hadnt bled anything and this "person" had disappeared. So yes, i can see this happening to people....

yes i was in the barracks over at the base with my grandpa and i thought i saw someones shadow walking through the door, the door is facing a spot verticle to the bunk on the right and so i got up and no one was there, but it could have been my imagination or someone who runs quietly very fast.

maybe it was a demonic force or a good one or a ???

Hmm, I saw a documentary about blind people who can see!

But not with normal sight, but with the part of the brain using the visual cortex our primitive ancestors used.

And they could perceive movement, but not actually see what was moving.

So was it that part of your brain working?

Did you see something spiritual, ghostly or extra dimensional?

Or was it just your imagination?

Makes you think though, I have seen shadows myself.

I've had times where I think I've seen people out of the corner of my eye only to find no one there. I think it was just my eyes playing tricks on me.

Seriously though, I've had times where I feel like I'm being watched when no one I can see is watching me which is really creepy.

Spooky!! no it hasn't happened to me but i have heard on tv thats there's a lot of ghosts at the hospitals if you believe in them but not sure if they are true myself

Sure, people move faster than I think they do some times, especially when I'm spaced out.

Or it could be something spiritual too ...

yeah I've experienced that too. I asked a nurse about it & he told me that's called and "illusion" when you see something out of the corner of your eye & then you try to focus on it & there is nothing there. He said it happens so often there's that word for it---illusion.
