Are the two of you married or just living together? Well, if you are having these problems why are you together? I'm an American living in Italy, and have never had any cultural problems with Italian men. Maybe you just have awful luck.

Read up about Italian culture, talk with other women married to Italians in your area and try to understand your husband, communicate with him and let him know how you feel.
