Our wedding song was "Forever & For Always" by Shania Twain. To us that fits us so perfect. Even now, when I sign a card or a letter to my husband I sign it "Forever & For Always".

We had two, our first dance and the last dance of the evening (the "going away" dance) Our first dance was "All I want is You" by U2 and our last dance was "Love you til the end" by The Pogues. We cant stand that stupid "Last Dance" song by Donna Summer so we ended it with a slow song.
We also had two others that we specifically requested be played through the night "Throw your Arms Around Me" by Hunters and Collectors and "Not Enough Time" by INXS

unity candle was to at last by etta james, we had a friend sing it, but she did so well that several people who couldn't see her thought we had a recording!
First dance was to wonderful tonight by eric clapton, it was just us....
My fave tho was our last dance of the night, we used I wanna grow old wiht you by adam sandler from the wedding singer, it was off the wall, but I love the way its realistic about marriage, and once again, just kinda US.

My husband picked our song - "Lover Lay Down" by Dave Matthews Band. It fit our personality and style very, very well. We are HUGE DMB fans, and after he picked the song, I realized that the lyrics were beautiful and fitting without being overly sappy.
The two verses that sold it for me:
"Walk with me, walk with you
Hold my hand your hands
So much we have dreamed
And you were so much younger
Hard to explain that we are stronger
A million reasons life to deny
Let's toss them away
See you and me we
Lay down look see
She and he
By my lover's side
Together share this smile
Each other's tears to cry
Together share this smile..."

Someone Like You by Van Morrison.
(Heck, so many other Irish things at the wedding, might as well go all-out.)
