Microsoft CRM Vs. Salesforce?

Can anyone give me comparative notes on Microsoft CRM Vs. Salesforce?

I have a customer that is currently using Salesforce, he uses AccountDynamics to interface Salesforce with Quickbooks, but AD is going out of business.

I am recommending that he switch to CRM.

Any thoughts/suggestions on how I can convince him? What are the key features that would be good to bring up in a presentation?

    My company just switched to a CRM system and it is the best decision my boss ever made. The amount of work that everyone in the office has to do now has been dramatically reduced. We no longer have to input data on customers in several ways it is just point and click.

    I think letting your customer take a look at several CRM sites he can get a better idea of who he likes. I researched CRM companies for a while for my company. Ultimately we decided to go with a company called Austin Software Architects based out of Austin, Tx. They were able to customize our CRM system to what we needed, they are a selling partner of Sugar CRM. I am not very technologically advanced but they helped all of us understand the system pretty easily.

    The best idea is to research several companies just so you can be more informed and make the most educated decision. We liked Sugar the most so went with them.

    There are quite a few CRM that matches the performance of Salesforce CRM. However it is difficult to conclude whether those CRM are better than the Salesforce. However here are a few of them you can try out.

    • Zoho – The unique features of Zoho includes web forms, visitor tracking, Social CRM, PhoneBridge, Territory Management and Live Customer Chat etc.

    • Infusionsoft – Key features include the presence of built-in marketing automation, e-commerce, referral programs, social marketing, visitor tracking and Add-on marketplace.

    • Netsuite – Features include advanced sales forecasting, customer self-service, Social CRM, Partner Relationship Management and Incentive Compensation Management etc.

    • SugarCRM – The features ranges from call center automation, activity streams, optional cloud deployment and customer self-service etc.

    • Microsoft Dynamics CRM – The presence of features such as customer self-service, Social CRM, Add-on marketplace, enterprise social networking and hybrid deployment options.

    Micrososfts CRM and SAPs CRM are cross platform programs, they have several additional componants and can be linked to other programs in the range.

    Both allow tracing through HR, Sales, Inventory and Distribution programs. Accounting is also included, some of the information he or she has if converted to plain text, may be able to be imported if saved and when the new program is installed there are import info abilities, otherwise it should be backed up and kept for Legal and IRS tax purposes.
