Ressurection of the Greatest Show on Turf?

Bulger, Holt, Bruce, Steven Jackson (best RB in NFL), Randy Mcmichael, Drew Bennett, Brian Leonard. How do D's cover all of that? At least two people will be covered by only one person. Rams-NFC West Champs 2007.

The days of "The Greatest Show on Turf" are gone.

Bruce is 35 years old, heck, he played for the LA Rams.

Although he had a 1,000 yard season last year, he only had 525 the year before. And only 3 touchdowns each of the last 2 years.

Holt is obviously their "go to" guy with 1,188 yards and 10 touchdowns last year, but he is 31 now.

No argument when it comes to Bulger, he is definately a top 10 QB in the league, but with his receivers losing a step every year with age, he needs some young speed to throw to .

No disagreement with Jackson either, 1,500 yards rushing is an automatic respect getter. As long as his body can take the pounding that it will get every game. He is going into his 4th year, he is due for an injury.

The offense is above average, the defense is very average.

They were 8-8 last year for a reason, and they had the players you mentioned. Why is that?

With a schedule that has Seattle twice, @ Dallas, @ Ravens, @ Bengals, and @ Saints, the Rams will optimistically go 9-7, maybe 10-6.

The good news is, in that division, 9-7 or 10-6 is definately good enough to win the division.

I agree that the Rams offense is one of the top in the NFL. However, their offensive line has to be solid in order for those skill position players to flourish. The Rams defense is also pretty bad and must improve for the Rams to do anything worthwhile in the playoffs. I think they have a real shot at the NFC West but have not improved enough on defense to win the NFC.

By the way, Steven Jackson is one hell of a running back. I think he's going to contend for top rusher this year and I am going to try hard to get him on my fantasy team.

They do LOOK good coming into this year, but that means nothing when the season starts. My team is the Cowboys but I wouldn't mind the Rams having a good season, well except when they play Americas Team.
