are my odds low for conceiving a girl?

Question

i have 2 sons..my first son is from my ex husband, and I have another son with my current husband..I have heard that once you have 2 male children, your chances of having a third male is much greater..is this true and if it is does it make a difference that I didn't have 2 boys with the same man..its my second husband I would like to have a daughter with..we only have 1 child together an I would really like to try for a girl..another boy is great too but I would like to know if I am still in the game for a little girl..no ignorant reply's please

I heard  - that you should have sex BEFORE you ovulate to conceive a girl. (1-2 days before)

I've heard the same thing as the previous answerer about having sex a couple days before ovulation. Has something to do with the 'female' sperm surviving longer inside the woman. The 'male' sperm are faster swimmers and the 'female' sperm live longer.  So by having sex before ovulation, the males swim through and die before the egg gets there and leaves the path open for the females to fertilize the egg.

You have a great chance, I personally know people that this has happened to. Why not try again even if this ones a boy, my neice had three boys then three girls in a row, they are so beautiful, the first two are mexican. She has a Tommy, Manuel, Christopher, Chloe, Fiona, and newborn Sabrina. You obviously havent closed the door on this baby dream, so pray and have faith and trust that God will give you what he feels you need. I have two boys and two girls, and trying for number 5.

I know this is going to sound stupid, my best thing I can tell you that is a old wise tale, take off your wedding and use white unused thread put the thread around your ring and tie a knot at the end and place the ring in your belly button. Hold the thread up so the ring is slightly above your body.It will go side to side for a boy and go in a circle for a girl.  It has something to do with the bodies life circles . I knew that it sounds crazy but I have done this for 30  yrs and I have never been wrong, and if the ring changes side to side to circle with out stopping it will be twins.
