If his hobby is cutting into family time and/or expenses then sit down & have a talk with him. Don't internalize your feelings, let him know but be constructive. Don't blame, just discuss.

Yes I have. well hes my fiance but he spends so much on fishing stuff becasue thats what he likes to do. But I get so mad when is always buying stuff. But he makes up for it and takes me out to dinner or shoping...lol!! It pays off.

Put yourself on a written budget. That way you can both agree on what is a reasonable amount.

This is why married people should have separate bank accounts. if its his money he should be able to spend it on whatever he wants.
