there is this guy...should i let him know?

He's a friend of mine and he's really been through a hard time this year because his father passed away. I just found out how kind a heart he has and i've begun to get to know him more...at prom, we slow danced.he really made me feel special. Now he continually mentions our dance together and told me it meant a lot to him...he keeps giving me mixed signals but i don't know whether its me who's interpreting it wrong or what...anyway...i was very close to telling him the other day, and he took me to one side and just as i was about to tell him...he goes 'are you going out with *this guy*?' i told him i wasn't going out with anyone, but he kept saying, 'no really....are you? u can tell me seriously.' and every time i ttried to tell him again, he brings up that guy. i've lost the courage to tell him but he already knows i want to tell him sumtin...should i go on and tell him ot just make up sumtin and pretend what i wanted to say in the first place wasn't important?

you should tell him that you like him. he seems like he likes you..so why not tell him straightforward the next chance you get before he gets anymore sidetracked about the other guy he thinks your going out with? you just need to find some way to make him take you seriously so you can tell him without him bringing up anything else and getting more confused.

Sounds like he's interested - the only way to know for sure is to maybe ask him out on a date, bite the bullet and tell him!  Maybe he's shy and not sure if you are interested.  If you like him, then why lie?  Tell him the truth!

How will it behoove you ANYTHING to make something up? Not only would that be misleading, but you clearly like the guy! Tell him, for goodness` sake! If you want him, why WOULDN'T you say it?????

no tell him if u like him and hes giving off a signel duh ur not just going to let it go by who nows yall probly r  meant for eachother give him a chance to listen to how u feel then go from there if he likes u the way u like him from what im reading u 2 will make a supper couple!!!!!!

if he keeps asking you about his other guy, o think that he might know him and know that he likes you. so he is worried that if you knew this other guy like you, you would go out with him instead. so it is obvious that you should tell the man you like him. everything will be just fine!!
