If you have white cloudy water or gray cloudy water in your fish tank and you have just set it up, it could be the dust from the gravel or sand. Be sure to thoroughly rinse your substrate before adding it to your aquarium. This can be difficult to do with sand but the dust particles should settle in a day or two.
If your tank has been setup for a short time this may be the result of a bacterial bloom that happens in a newly setup tank or when too many tropical fish were added too soon. This situation will correct itself when a sufficient amount of bacteria establishes on your biological filter. See the Nitrogen Cycle for more information on this process.
You can help keep your tropical fish from getting stressed by performing 25% water changes daily and feeding them less until the nitrogen cycle has finished.

Usually this will clear on its won after a few days. But you can buy this stuff at a petstore, cant remember the name of it....but it is liquid and it attaches itself to the dirty cloudy water particles and falls to the bottom. Then you syphon it out. This also is caused from ammonia levels not usually PH (sometimes though). Or this happens with newly added fish or water. Try using a water conditioner if your not already. Like Aqua Plus.

Do not feed the fish too much. To get a solution for this you need to remove all the gravel in it and clean it thoroughly and then remove 50% of the water and add new water which is suitable for the type of the fish

you are able to nicely be over feeding. Left over nutrition reasons volatile micro organism that consumes oxygen. Oder is likewise brought about via micro organism. (to not be at a loss for words with valuable micro organism) consequently pass that chemical. strengthen your filter out length. Feeder fish nor any fish are mandatory to start algae. gentle is (the extra gentle the extra & quicker algae strengthen). you apart from mght might have presented to many fish to at as quickly as though they are gold fish feeders as they have a tendency to be "grimy" via nature. additionally usual rule a million" of fish in keeping with gal. of water. I take you advise DE-CHLORINATOR not chlorine chemical compounds as chlorine kills fish. If the water have been left as long as you reported chlorine remover would not be mandatory. Chlorine could expend interior of 40 8 hours at ordinary room temperature. In new tanks because of the fact no valuable bacterial have yet progressed a unexpected intro of that many fish could particularly start up clouding with little filtration. The aeration is help complete save it going. Given approximately 5days with much less nutrition the tank could sparkling up. you need to use a chemical like "sparkling" that reasons "airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust" molecules to bond and be filtered out extra particularly or sink to the backside, besides the undeniable fact that it would sparkling devoid of it. decrease decrease back to a million or 2 pinches an afternoon and verify they consume it in below 5 minutes. placed you cash right into a bigger filter out and purchase chemical compounds purely while nessary. do not sparkling the tank & filter out on an analogous time. in case you do your getting rid of each and every of the valuable micro organism at as quickly as and you will could start up the technique over as quickly as extra. sparkling one or the different wait 5-7days and then sparkling the different. you will not could purchase starter em-zines. Do use declorinator while doing water adjustments or addind fish formerly 40 8 hrs. till you have nicely water.

There is a growth that can happen in tanks. It is called "ick" as far as I recall. You should take a sample of your water to a good pet store and they should, if they are any good, be able to test the water and tell you exactly what to add for chemicals.
You should of course change the water and filter at prescribed intervals for your type of tank. (ie Brackish, fresh, salt, tropical, subtropical, etc)

When mine did that I changed brands of flake food and it helped. Getting a stronger filter may help also.

switch from charcoal, to avtivated carbon. quit feeding so much. feed only what they can eat in 10 min. its hard to starve a fish.
