The only way to do that is to contact Cingular and tell them you want an anonymous number. But of course...another feature that costs.

You merely need to contact Cingular Wireless customer service and make the request. Once requested, however, it will apply to all of your telephone calls!

go to cingular and ask them to block your number as they don't charge for doing that as they did that for me and didn't charge me.

okk.. go to menu. go to settings. go to in-call setup. go to my caller id. go to all calls. press hide id
Source(s): that will work! i do it all the time. it hides your caller-id. i have the same exact phone and cingular too
