Spurs in 7. Jazz seemed to figure out some good schemes at the end of game 1.

the odds would seem in thier favor, as the Jazz definetely went through an easier bracket to get where they are.
and the Spurs are already up one game. but who knows? upsets DO happen. I hope the Jazz beat the Spurs in 7.

I wouldn't be so sure. The Jazz came out a little slow today, but they did this in their other 2 series as well and made great adjustments. Defensively they match up against the Spurs exceptionally well. They have 2 great shot-blockers in Kirilenko and Okur, and a dominating post player in Boozer. Add to that Millsap who is a beast on the boards. Their team is very gritty and extremely versatile. They can play with a fast Golden State type team, but they can grind it out as well. As far as adjustments go, Fisher and WIlliams must give Tony Parker the jumpshot just inside the 3 point line and wait longer before picking him up so that he doesn't blow right by them before one of their big guys can rotate in for a shot-block (what happened today). I think they played Duncan about as well as they ever will, and they must treat Ginobili the same way they treat Parker, forcing him to be a jump shooter and not allowing him dribble penetration. Ginobili can hit outside shots, but when you take away his ability to drive to the basket, you take away 8-12 of his points. He is also an emotional shooter. When he is getting easy buckets, his outside shooting improves; when he is strictly taking jumpshots, his field goal percentage plummets and he can go through long droughts.
As you no doubt saw today, Utah's biggest problem is offense. They must use their talent wisely in order to beat San Antonio. That means posting up Boozer and Harpring when Bowen is on him, and letting Okur float around the perimeter rather than trying to post him up against Duncan. And for goodness sakes, they must be aggressive. Deron Williams can't wait until there are only 5 or 6 minutes left in the game to start creating shots for himself, and Boozer took way too long to heat up as well. Many people will write the Jazz off after their Game 1 loss, but I say "Not so fast, my friend." If they make a few adjustments, they have the personnel and talent to beat San Antonio. I say they beat the Spurs, but either way I am calling the series to go to 7 games. Don't vote my answer down until the series is over. Time will be it's true evaluator.

Was there ever any doubt? The Spurs are the best team in the West. I can't wait to see them go head up with a defense that is just as tenacious and an offense that can fire on all cylinders in my Detroit Pistons.
Go Pistons!!!!!!!!!

So I think we can all agree that the Spurs are the most boring team in the NBA?
The question is: Why do so many people actually ENJOY watching them?
Kind of makes you think.

I just asked David Stern, owner of the WBE (World Basketball Entertainment) and he said it would be Spurs in 5. Jazz will win one game. Just heard it from the owner of the business himself.
