Problems with HP Photosmart 470 Digital Camera?

It costs approx. $65 just to look at a camera to see what's wrong with it... not worth fixing unless your digicam originally costs $$$

I have a very hard time in understanding that HP dose not supply parts? do you mean that they will not supply parts to you or to a repair shop? if it's to you that's a correct answer! you have to be a certified repair shop for HP to sell parts to you! you have to know what you are doing, if not HP will not give you a warranty on the parts! HP will sell parts to a repair shop as long as the shop is certified! if they did not sell it to a certified repair shop HP will be out of business! their is a huge mark-up and a lot of money to be made for every one! Sorry if I d not understand you question right!

I just spent all day talking to hp about my camera that i have had for two years too, and my hardware on mine is faulty and they want me to buy a new camera . They do not offer any service. So like I was told buy a new one, but I wouldnt buy another of one of theirs . Good luck
