Phone numbers for Equifax and Experian?
I have been trying to contact Equifax through 800-685-1111 and Experian through 888-397-3742.
I cannot get past the recorded messages. There are wrong addresses on my credit reports and I need it fixed ASAP.
Does anyone a different phone number I can reach a real person?
I have already gone onto to their websites. But it is just horrible! Doesn't anyone have a human working the phone anymore?

Sorry to tell you, but there is no ASAP. Sending a letter will get it done just as fast.
Equifax you can dispute online, that is another option.
You are going to want the paper trail anyways. Send the letter. Always the best bet.
Its not like they are going to answer and say "Ok we will delete it right now" things just dont work that way.

You can request a credit report and get other info regarding your credit from www.annualcreditreport.com. The phone number is (877)-322-8228.
For info on disputes you can contact the Federal Trade Commission website at: www.ftc.gov/bep/online/pubs/credit/crdtdis.htm
You may get a phone number on this site. Hope this helps!

Just for the record, I just call Equifax at 800-846-5279 and got through rightway. I talked with a very nice lady who helped me. I found this number and two others by using Google.
Try these too (I didn't try them since the first one worked)
866-322-3162
888-265-8807
I'm off to try to conquer the Experian and Trans Unioin beasts (The numbers given to me for them didn't let me talk to a human)
