I really want to test my new computer's graphics?

If I had to choose any certain game for having a lot of intense graphics, what would it be? I know I could get some applications that would scrutinize and analyze my cards features and power, but I just want to see it in action in an actual game that has absolutely mind blowing graphics requirements.

Update:

Well, I have Oblivion: Elder Scrolls IV actually, and I can run it at almost 100% max grafx settings, so I guess for now I won't worry about upgrading to a better crossfire video setup. I have a 7950 GT w/1Gig now.

F.E.A.R is one of the most demanding graphics and physics games that I know of. Run the "performance test" and it will go through a 2 min cinematic of gun battles between the clone soldiers and the Armacham security forces. After, it will give you a report on how frames per second that you got out of your rig. I have Pentium D 3.4 GHz, 2 ATI Radeon X1600 Pros graphics cards, and 2 gigs of RAM (800MHz) and I still can't max out graphics detail without significant performance issues (frame rate gets way too slow). Hope that helps.

Try Oblivion: elder scrolls 4. I had to get a new video card just to run it and after i got a 256mb video card and updated to my pc with 1gig of ram I still couldn't get very highest quality.

Look for a benchmarking program. That'll put your computer though a stress test and give you a score to compare. If you want an actual game, check out Half-life 2. Great graphics.

try Elder Scrolls Oblivion or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. maybe Gothic III if you play gothic III though i suggest having played the first two. The games go in sequence following a story.

if you just want to test your computers performance you can go here:

www.speedtest.net then click the gold triangle (thats the closest server to you) and it will check your perforemance
