As a nanny in NH, what is a fair salary to ask a potential employer for?

I am applying for nanny positions in NH and each time I am asked what I would charge, my question is: What is a fair salary to ask for from a potential employer who has either 1 or 2 children from infant to toddler age. I am ECE certified, CPR/First Aid Certified, 13 yrs experience working with infants and toddlers and am also a mom of a wonderful 11 year old. Any input you have would be much appreciated and if you have a nanny already, what do you think is a fair price?

Thank You....Kelley

I was a nanny in Boston for five years. I charged $12 and hour for one child. The family provided a car for me during work hours otherwise I used my own. If you are live out I would say $14-18. Start high and then you can go lower.

Also, if you do any house cleaning besides child related charge more
