What is D.A.R.E?

Drug Abuse Resistance Education

i took it a couple years ago. a police officer comes into your class and talks tou you about drugs and the harmful effects they have. it is very good. teaches your child not to smoke and take drugs. it teaches them also about surgeon generals warning and they do worksheets and things like that.

it also teaches them about alcohol and that you shoul ddrink very little if at alll, and to be careful about alchol consumption.

it also teeaches about peer pressure and how these two subjects can tie into it. teaches kids to do the right thing.

Drug Abuse Resistance Education. D.A.R.E. officers, and possibly DARE role models from a local high school, will come to her school and tell her class the dangers of doing drugs. Unfortunately, students do not always listen to DARE officers.

It is a drug prevention program taught by local law enforcement in the schools.

I would like to add that I would be more concerned about my daughter not answering my questions about what is going on in school.

I would be there the next day, and sit in on the classes right next to her, and inform myself very quickly.

If there were any questions you had, or there was anything that you disagreed with, you immediately would have the option to talk to the teacher/presenter, or use the opt out option.

It stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education. It is usually taken in 5th grade to teach kids about peer pressure, alcohol, and drugs.

i forget what the letters stand for since i havent had that since like 6th grade and i'm 26 but it is a class on drug aweness and basically teaches kids to say NO to drugs
