How do I design my own pictures? PLZ HELP?

I HAVE BEEN MESSING AROUND WITH COMPUTERS SINCE FREAK 13 AND ITS KILLING ME THAT I HAVEN'T STILL FIGURED OUT HOW PPL DO PUT BACKGROUNDS AND PAST THERE REGULAR PICTURE AND JUST DO ALL KIND OF COOL DESIGNS. WHAT IS THE SECRET AND IS THERE A FREE WEBSITE YOU CAN DO IT OWN. THEY ALSO PUT CUTE WORDS TO GO WITH IT. PLZ HELP I'M READY TO LEARN?

    try using photoshop...it's prtty advance but it's great

    Like the first answer, photoshop will do that, but something like the gimp will work as well and is free http://www.gimp.org/

    Do a google search for photoshop or gimp tutorials

    well, first off you should take capslock off

    and look into a program called photoshop. it lets you do ALL kinds of stuff concerned with images and such
