No, the others aren't wrong. They're just different forms and paths of Christianity than my own. I was born into a devout Roman Catholic family, and then I grew up to study many different religions (a process that hasn't stopped). However, none of them touched me spiritually in the same way as Catholicism, so I remain Catholic.

I travelled from Roman Catholicism to agnosticism to atheism to the Episcopal Church and then became Eastern Orthodox 10 yrs ago. God reveals Himself to all men and there are fragments of truth everywhere. In Orthodoxy, I found faith that is not based on legalism but on relationships - both with the uncreated God and with all His creation. In Orthodoxy, sin is a broken relationship that requires healing so medical analogies work best to describe how it's different from law-based denominations, whether Protestant or Catholic. I found beauty in the ancient worship of the Orthodox church, virtually unaltered for 2000 years and I found a faith that made sense and was not subject to the multitude of conflicting interpretations of Scripture that plague Protestantism and was also not authoritarian or legalistic as is Roman Catholicism.

It is not about the "sect" as much as the body of believers. God's church is made up of his children, which is very much separate from the local congregation. The actual traditions that are carried out by the congregation don't matter as much as the amount of love for God that the people in the Church have. As long as the Church is Bible based it is not "wrong".

I think all denominations of Christianity basically need to do the following: Believe/ have Faith in God, believe that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, repent your sins AND MEAN IT. Other than that, I don't really care about all the silly differences between denominations. For example, my Aunt's denomination does not drink any alcohol, nor do they dance. My denomination believes alcohol is fine in moderation, and dancing is fine too. Does that mean if I dance I'm going to hell, or if my Aunt drinks wine, she's going to hell also? None of that matters. The only things that matter are what I listed up ^^ there^^

I chose the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), because it most closely fits my own belief system. I don't believe the other sects are wrong. I don't even believe other religions are wrong... there are as many ways to access God as there are people in this world.

i read the bible and went with the group that answered my ? and seemed to live by the principles laid out in Gods word so for me it was an easy choice. i don't down others i believe God gives free will so who am i to try to take it away i think people need to know the truth which can only be found by reading the bible and questioning what we don't understand but its for them to follow or leave it as they will

I am a Christian but I do not belong to a denomination. I do not think any of them are "wrong" but sometimes I think it would be nice if we could all agree.
