Im a warrior in world of warcraft but cant use an axe. Why?

you have to train weapons in all the major cities (well the 3 preBC ones)

If you are horde

Orgrimar, undercity, thunderbluff

alliance

ironforge, stormwind, darnassus

1h and 2h axes should be in ironforge i believe for alliance. If it's not it's probably in Stormwind.

GL warriors have a lot of weapons to train in

To train in a weapon go ot the 'weapon master' you can ask a guard where they are. then pay to learn the weapons. if axes arn't there try another city.:)

Look on your character window - is the axe your main weapon?

if not make sure it is.

and that it isn't a throwing axe.

My warrior has an axe as My main weapon - but I have switched it a bunch of times for swords and maces.

You should try to get as skilled in weapons as you can since warriors can't cast any spells.

You need the profiency to wield axes. Go here:

Ironforge - Military Ward (by Warrior Trainers)

Get carried through H Pit of Saron every day for Tyrannical Beheaders. Get carried through H Trial of the Champion and all the Icecrown heroics every day for gear. Farm normal Trial of the Champion for Banner of Victory, you might get some upgrades in the process. Also don't forget to do the daily random heroic for your frost emblems, but do this AFTER you do the heroics you need gear from (the ones that yield item level 219-232). If your gear is so bad that you can't even queue for these, just grind random heroics until you get enough emblems to buy enough gear to raise your average item level enough.

Yes, it's possible

In stormwind there is a weapons trainer. ask one of the guards for directions. also you have to take the tram to iron forge there are trainers there as well.

go train in iron forge

and the reason they are red is because you havent trained for them yet or the level of the item is tooo high.
