I need help...?

Ok, im gay and my ex and I would never use a condom when ******* and he gave me this infection on my anal area and i went to the doctor and she used nitros oxide on my *** to burn away the warts...and they mostly ALL went away....do i have hpv???

    If you were diagnosed with anal warts you have HPV. All warts regardless of where they are of one or more of the 100+ human Papillomavirus types. 30 HPV types are specific to the ano-genital area.

    Visible warts are thought to be primarily low risk HPV types but 20 to 50% of people with low risk visible genital warts also carry a co-infection with high risk HPV types.

    Anal warts are common in Men who have sex with men. HPV is found in almost all anal cancers.

    It would probably be a good idea to see a proctologist and seek his recommendations for the anal Pap smear or anal screening
