Have you ever heard the name Bricole?
Recently I answered someone's Yahoo Question in which they asked if folks had ever met anyone named "Xiomara". That got me thinking about some unusual names I've heard of.
One of the most unusual is "Bricole". I'd assume its pronunciation rhymes with Nicole, but I don't actually know, because I didn't actually HEAR the person's name; I only READ it somewhere. I don't even know if it's a female or a male!
Oddly enough, I recently learned that a "bricole" is a medieval artillery device similar to a trebuchet, and was used to hurl large stones or other items at one's enemies. (YIKES!)
Anyhoo, I'm just curious if anyone has ever heard of someone named Bricole? (Whether you knew them personally or not). Also, what gender to do you think this name would be? I think it sounds female, but then again, that's because I keep thinking of the name Nicole. *chuckle*
