Can someone recommend a air filter (standing type) that works very well?

Specifically for dust and cat dander for living room (not large room). Performance is most important, but I don't want a large square box in the living room.

Thanks.

Well, the first thing you got to look for is a HEPA air filter. I heard the ionic breeze is pretty bad. Since it's going to be in the living room, I think you're looking for something a little compact and not butt ugly as well. I think the Blueair brand would be your best bet. They are pricey though. The ugly square box types are cheaper.

Their air filters are energy-efficient (Energy Star). Also, they look sleek (the AirPod is so cute!)

    HTH!
