Does anyone feel sorry for the illegal immigrants?
Although we want the best for our country, is there a piece of us that goes out to the illegal immigrants. Some say we should fault the Mexican Government, others say breaking the law is breaking the law. Is our issue really with the Mexican government or their people who run away from it to posess the same freedoms as us. Is there any sympathy?

while the East Germans did stuff like this to 'illegally' get away East Berlin no person complained. think of approximately that. of direction the reasons on the U. S./Mexican border are financial the place as Berlin replaced into political and fiscal. whether that's freedom through the different call be it financial or political. We of direction have each and every suited to disclaim that threat to those exterior our borders, and those activities are extra pushed through criminals working an unlawful human smuggling corporation for income than freedom fanatics subverting an oppressive regime, however the desperation on the area of the travellers is an identical. And that's that desperation we'd desire to continuously be finding to remedy for the long-term.

yes I feel bad for them. I also feel bad for the poor already in this country. Bottom line if Mexico have a good economy they would not need to come here . It is the fault of the Mexican Government.

Why should we feel sorry for people who break our laws, hurt the US economy, increase crime rates, take away jobs, drain the healthcare system and put a strain on every American citizen??????

I do have sympathy for the kids that are caught up in the mistakes of their parents, and for the anchor babies that are being used as legal and political pawns by their own mothers & fathers.
As to blame for the illegal problems - it falls on many, many shoulders. But its time we step up and make sure that things are enforced. We cannot change what has passed, but we can work hard to diminish the problems in the future, at least in what ever capacity we are able. We can't change the Mexican government, but we can do things here at home. Vote for the right people, boycott things produced and sold by companies known to hire illegals, write letters, etc.

do you feel sorry for bank robbers? They must feel so empty and poor to go out and break the law to try to get money for nothing. Those poor babies
gabe, it aint just the republicans that dont like illegals. I'm a lib and I hate 'em with a passion because I see them in action every day in los angeles.
Theyre breaking lawS and costing us money...it doesnt take racism to despise that. Now quit projecting your racial pride onto others!

While it is true that "illegal" immigrants do break the law by coming here, they do so to escape oppressive economic conditions. Since Cubans are allowed to enter the US for political asylum perhaps it is time to create a category for Mexican and Central American immigrants seeking to escape harsh economic conditions -- "economic refugees".

Yeah, and purse snatchers break the law cause they are poor too. Let's grant them amnesty too.
All the illegal aliens that stole IDs...only did it cause they are "poor and to escape oppression"
Illegal aliens broke the law coming here, and continue breaking the law after they are here.

I think if the US had put as much interest and cash into Mexico over the last 40 years as we have into Iraq over the last 5, we would all be much better off.
