Hmmm, is it the same officer? If so, you should have a record of the tickets and his or her badge number. This may be harassment. Also, you should be wearing your seatbelt over your left shoulder, not under your arm....they may have grounds for ticketing you there what with the harsher seatbelt laws. You could file a complaint with the superior officer of the precinct.

The seat belt MUST be worn over the shoulder (if it's a shoulder seat belt). They can and will give you a ticket if they catch you. Filing a complaint towards a police officer for doing his job is kind of pointless.

I'd suggest if you don't want to wear a eat belt, you should move to New Hampshire, the only state without an adult seat belt law.

you COULD actually go into the court to fight the ticket..ever thought of that? BTW, if you're wearing a seat belt under the arm, it's not providing the protection it's designed to provide and the officer is quite correct...seat belts are for safety, not comfort

If you're wearing a seat belt under your arm, your head WILL smash the windshield on a high speed impact. If this is your only complaint, wear the friggin' seat belt right and get on with your life.

And you should learn to obey the seat belt law. It wasn't made to be worn under your arm. If you insist on doing it your way, you will be stopped and ticketed.

You have no grounds for a complaint.

From the experience of a friend; be careful when you file a report. If you lie, then the charge is felony perjury.

Your best bet is to go to court, represent yourself and see what the judge says.
