How Can I Test If My Video Card Is Working?

I just installed a 512 MB ATI Radeon X1650 Pro AGP, a big upgrade over the 128 MB model I was using before. My drivers are all upgraded to their latest versions.

Thing is, if anything, my performance has decreased, which makes me suspect I'm overtaxing my RAM, and that the card isn't working at all.

How can I check?

you can go to Start / Run / dxdiag.exe

there are some tools in here to test both your sound card and your video card. You should also check to see if there is software on the video cards manufacturers website or on a CD that you may have gotten with your video card...
