Rocky..If they ever decided to remake it using new actors..Who would play Rocky?

Update:

I know it would not be the same..that is not an answer to the question.

WHO would you pick IF they did do it?

They remake movies all the time.. This was a conversation I had with some one today..Was wondering what others thoughts were.

Those movies seem impossible to remake, just because the first one is so different from the rest. The rest of the movies would seem a lot easier because they're action movies, so any tough/buff dude can fill the role (maybe Mark Wahlberg, or The Rock). If they wanted to remake the first one they would have to go with either a no-name or an actor that could convince you as an underdog.

For the same reason they decided to remake "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". They think they can tell the same story better. I actually saw an interview with the people responsible for the first remake, and they claimed they wanted to make a psychological thriller as opposed to a gory bloodbath like the first one was. It made me wonder if they had ever seen the original. There is only like 4 drops of blood in the original. IT WAS A PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER! I must admit that some recent "remakes" or "retellings" have been worthwhile, but some things you just can't improve on. I have never encountered an actor quite like Tim Curray, and expect never to again in my lifetime. I hope it bombs!

The Rock(Dwayne Johnson) is a good choice.I hadn't thought of him. Kudos to the above answer!

I was thinking more along the line of Orlando Bloom. He could pass for an Italian, and with some weight training, could get more defined like Stallone did. Although,I think Stallone went overboard. Most fighters aren't THAT defined unless they are in the lower weight classes. Rocky was supposed to be a heavyweight.
