How to spa?

I'm going for a day spa tomorrow including a body wrap, facial, manicure, pedicure. What should I bring? What should I wear? How much should I tip?

SPA - what a concept. I have been a Spa professional for 7 years and nothing suprises me yet by newcomers. First welcome and I hope you enjoy and love your 1st experience.

Girl your so lucky ... your having the Diva Day.

You need to wear something very comfortable. Because when your all done with your Diva Day - you have to remove your spa robe and go back to the clothes you intially came in with.

What you need to bring is nothing. But your Body and a Mind wide open to a new experience.

If you have long hair you may want to bring a pony tail holder.

You may want to bring a water bottle to keep with you- but most spa's offer fluids of all sorts to accomodate you. *** depending on the Spa.

With all the services your going to Enjoy - your going to have to disrobe. So wear comfortable undergarments. That are able to be removed easy. Your going to be switching rooms so it's easier on the operator -the less you bring with you. We take your personal items from room to room. I could care less myself -never had a problem with my clients items. Do NOT bring or wear Jewelry. It takes up time to remove neck, wrist, ankle jewelry - from your service time. And its Your precious items ..and You want them at home *** trust me.

Your not going to be able to keep on a microfiber tank or anything - with the body wrap or facial. Keep it simple. Your gonna have to be UM Bum out - not wearing anything for those services. You will have a wrap/gown or something covering your private area's at all time - No one is going to see you. Do not shave your legs tonight - for the Ped. If you already did - dont worry or fuss too much. Its just more sanitary if you dont shave prior. Your skin is closed and not open with any nicks or scapes via a razor from home thru shaving. dont Freak please. Many women shave prior. Its just a safety.

Tips thats always a question - What you need to know prior to going to this spa - Is the tip already within the service? Many Spa's incorporate the Tip within the Service time/price. Some however do not. That should be posted when you check in. Should be a Valid Statement - Gratuity is not required. Or you will see the Opposite - statement. Your Tips to our Service Providers are Excepted if You wish to pay gratuitity ..paid with Credit Card, Cash etc. If you feel it is unknown Ask the girls at the front desk at Check in.

Most Spa professionals who provide these services make straight commission - which is a portion of the service price. And Tips are not a plus - but Income. And trust me - No one is going to offer you a service hoping to please you for a tip. We are professionals and only desire to provide you with the best experience. Your tip is not ever in consideration yet it is very appreciated. I hope I helped

I wish I was going with YOU ... oxoxo Spa is total Love and Comfort - I hope you Just SOAK it all UP ... Go Girl. Enjoy.

Spa is an art which should be carried out in a systematic manner. A complete knowledge about spa is required if you are new to spa to prevent oneself to be caught under bad circumstances causing serious issues. Thus, be careful whether you are choosing right type of massage bed or not. Is it well cushioned or not. What kind of oils and other cosmetic things are being used

You should wear something loose and comfortable. Tip about 15-20% of the total, but not less than $10, to the person taking care of you. Sometimes someone different does your nails than the wrap, so make sure you tip both! One of the coolest things I had done once was have a spa party at my house. The company I hired sent out three therapists to my home, and several of my friends and I had body wraps, body exfoliations, and massage therapy done. It was great! I didn't know that spa's could come to me. Good luck with your spa experiance!!
