Why do some people like to gossip so much?

People who gossip really do not have anything interesting to talk about so they feel that people will listen to them if they talk bad about somebody else. I dont like to listen to gossip so i walk away. There's always that saying, if they do it to others then they will do it to you. So, i keep them as far away from me as possible. I cant help but to feel sad for these people because they are so jealous and focused on the people that they talk badly about who probably do not care or give them attention. Also, you have to think about how bad their life is. Maybe gossiping is the only thing that helps them feel good about themselves. Just dont let it get to you. Hope that helps.

gurl i feel you i feel the same way ppl be runnin up they phone bills talkin bout some 1 elses business i dnt get it either gurl dnt even waist ur time telling them how u feel just dnt hang w/them cuz theres a good chance they talk about u as soon as u leave sooo dnt trip thatz what they do it's like there job or some thing i dnt kno all i can say is if u do hang w/ them or who ever jus keep ur business "your" business ya kno only tell them what u want ever 1 2 know cuz betta believe they goin to tell it . :) hope full yi helped l8terz

Ugh, I bet they feel smart for thinking up facts about other people. It really is just something to do, maybe for them to feel intelligent for knowing and passing off information about people that others would have never guessed.

I think they are insecure. They feel so bad about themselves that they want others that they are jealous of to look bad to other people. That way they themselves might look good to the people that they have downgraded the others to.

thats not really true like for today i did a soul searching day and as i was writting a e-mail to my mate i relised i was happy and that was cool... so gossip can vary so so much and a got a good hit today :)

if you have something to say and you think about someone enough to talk about them, than you should respect them enough to say it to their face.

because they have nothing to do...soooo free. if they dont open their mouth..they are afraid they might have bad breath...lol
