God wants us to be secular.

I'm a secularist and I believe that people should be free to pursue their own religious identity. However, I believe that government and public organizations like schools and such should remain purely secular in order to guarantee fair and equal treatment.

    How do you mean?

I believe it is the only logical way to keep things on an even basis. No religion should have sway over the ruling body of a country. If someone feels their religion forbids something, they shouldn't do it, there is no need to force everyone to follow that belief.

I think we need it. Imagine if we lived like they were in the 15th century with all the religious nutjobs running the things. Both should be separate from each other. Religion isn't law, it's a way of life and it should stay that way.

The Goverment should always be Secular.

It is healthy for indivituals to be spiritual as long as they dont oppress their personal beliefs to other people.

Its worse to be secular than those of moderate religious faith, but probably better to be secular than a religious zealot.
