No, you need to be able to serrate the good people from the bad people. Cop shows up looking for a purple man with no hair. Seven people in the area that are purple and bald and have guns. Bank was just held up bye a purple person that was bald and had a gun. Now being that you are purple and bald with a gun. Would you like to spend your day down town trying to explain to the police what you had been doing that day, day before, day before that. All the while having all your bank and credit cards check. Oh btw, dont forget you had been shopping for your sons B day gift that was today at 4pm. Only reason you did not have it was because you had a meeting out of town. You made it back to town just in time and figure you had time to get him another gift. Now your on the ground cufted and being taken away to jail for the day.

Anyone competent to carry a fire arm has the right to do so by the US Constitution. I don't own a gun, but I believe in the right of all competent American Citizens to own, and carry a gun.

isn't that legal as it is i mean its legal to have automatic guns and its legal to have it in public but I'm sure some people would freak out seeing somebody walking down the street with a machine gun but i take mine to the gun range and gun shows i think people should be encouraged to carry guns

There has only been one nation that I know of that encourages it's population to own and carry loaded automatic assault rifles and that was Iraq under Sadom. They did have much less crime but when something happens to create instability you have lawless heavily armed people running around. Not a good thing.

I'd prefer that,honest people would carry openly,those with records or crime on their mind would probably carry concealed as they do now.

Hand guns are enough ,we don't need full autos to deter criminal acts.

Yes, then maybe the criminals will think twice when they see an armed citizenry that can and will defend themselves. I would like to see a rapist try to rape a woman when he sees her carring a weapon. This goes for buglars and robbers as well. And also then maybe the government might think again before they try to take away people's rights.

I'm curious as to where you live drifter. I think we should make it mandatory for all school students to be armed once they reach high school. I also think if you go into a place that serves alcohol it should be mandatory to be armed. I like your thinking.
