Beach volleyball dresses?
Do you think the dressing down in beach voleyball is only for display purpose and in long term this attitude is harmful for society. This takes away attention from game and brings depressed psycho in the stadiums rather than die hard fans.
Guys are really trying to defend it seeing that no one imposes ban on this most visually appealing game. Good try by trying to divert attention to other games. This is the game which can do with bigger dresses also. And if cloths are so uncomfortable, why need them. Lets throw them out completely.
As I understood till now, it is mandatory for female players to wear these skimpy dresses. Even the size and layout is defined strictly.

I think it is normal to wear normal beach clothing as bathing suits (women) and speedos or shorts with no shirt (men), shirts allowed as protection against sunburn. I shouldn' make a question of morality of it.

What the hell are you talking about. First of all, don't dis something you Can't do. Let us volleyball players be. We have AhMAzinG bodies and are better athletes than you'll ever know. Don't ask dumb questions like that. People are guna watch what they wanna watch and people are going to go to games for whatever reason they want. EVERY sport has a few psychos. Who Care? Makes it all that much more interesting. Back off dude.

are you one of those depressed psychos? i don't think the attitude is harmfull for society or anything! so you know how uncomfortable it is when sand gets under your shirt? or do you know how hot it can get playing beach volley on the sun? well... there's your answer! i don't think that volleyball players really thought about that! taking the attention away from the game?

I can kind of see where you're coming from, but what are we going to do, make them wear shorts and t-shirts? Unless they are being forced to wear that stuff against their will, then I don't see a problem.

how come you are not discussing about the 400k female student VB athletes out there wearing spandex when they play?
Beach VB is a commercial product, deal with it.
And it's being play in the Olympic, deal with it, again.
