Why should this country care about illegal Hispanics?

i can understand why you would feel that they are not important to this country.. .in high school, a friend of mine was hit by an illegal immigrant too... thankfully my friend was alright, but the person who hit him died instantly... but the fact is that immigration is good for the economy. by having an open immigration policy, we get the best of every other country out there, thus improving our technology and being a more productive country. BUT the problem with illegal immigrants is that they cant help us in that way cus they dont have the papers that say they are legal... the united states needs to enforce the current laws but also try to help people become legal because regardless of their behavior, they are good for the economy. Even when they are illegal, they may not pay taxes, but just about all the money they make is thrown back into the economy cus thats how they live, they will never be able to save enough money if they are illegal, and none of them realize that before they enter the country

Not to mention they can work 7 yrs TAX FREE while we struggle being taxed on a few dollars above minimum wage.They also qaulify for welfare assistance while the guy is working tax free. If every american could work tax free 7 yrs and be eledgible for welfare Id have NO reason to be angry.Then a lot of illegals who are criminals, say they rape and kill a loved have to be deported by mexican law because we are too "babrbaric" and shouldnt be allowed to try them for what they do here.They then go free in mexico and are allowed to cross the border again.I say once were through with the middle east mexico should be next in the lsit.We need to liberate those people form the rich dictators.

OH NO!!!!! what do we EVER DO???? First, there is not any plan to deport illegals. None. each and every now and then we are fortunate adequate to deport some illegals convicted of breaking different regulations. yet what we fairly prefer to do is punish employers who use unlawful workers. legal factor punishment. vast fines. final the roles magnet will outcome in illegals self-deporting. And the unpaid medical institution expenditures, unclaimed gubmint facilities, unpaid mortgages will be left in the back of. what do we DO???

You are probablly doubly fueled due to the loss of your loved one. I agree with you completely as I have a problem with illegals, too. I don't want to pay for them anymore. I think most of the American population, legal that is, is sick to death of their demands and free programs and all the rest as we are. I think the politicians are being very foolish not to respond to their constituents more favorably and more quickly. There's going to be major repercussions on this issue, I only pray that no legal people will get into trouble for taking this into their own hands as it is what is coming next if this government doesn't get busy. All we ask is for the laws to be inforced by the proper authorities, that's not too much to ask. If I were younger and healthier, I'd be a border patrol agent myself. It's sad to watch our country sink even deeper in debt due to a problem that can be taken care of, I'd be willing to help finance a program to deport illegals, not feed and house them.

To respond to what someone said about this question, illegal immigration is not caused by the government. we cant just let anyone into our country.

illegal immigration is caused by the government of mexico for letting and sometimes inspiring people to cross the border. If the government in Mexico allowed us to help their economy, and help improve their health systems and employee rights and benefits, no one would cross the border illegally. People come here for the incentives that are created by tax-paying citizens. Illegal immigrants do not give back to the country to keep the incentives up for everyone else.

Democrats are cheap and try to grab votes whereever they can. They will get on their knees for anyone just to get votes and they will say anything needed to get votes. If this issue was as big during Clinton's term, it wouldnt be as big of an issue because you wouldnt have the liberal sheep out on the streets trying to help everyone. I mean, the only reason all the liberal sheep are out there are because their "leaders" tell them to get out there, even though the politicians do not get out there themselves.

The ever so peace loving illegal aliens kill 13 Americans EVERY DAY. If educated people add in the God fearing wonderful drunk driving illegal aliens that kill 25 Americans EVERY DAY - using simple math, that figure comes to about 80,000 plus Americans KILLED on American soil by 'illegal aliens' since 9/11. Hmmmm, now who’s the bigger threat to all Americans?

And, exactly what the hell is a 'Hispanic'? Why are Mexicans afraid to call themselves Mexican? Or Costa Rician? Or Cuban?

I care about those that came here to work because they were starving and just wanted to survive. I don't give a rats behind for those who thought it was just easier money here, those who want to abuse the system and feel entitled to it. I don't care about those who insist on tearing our country apart because they are seeing it as conquering a nation and breeding the white people out. I despise those people. No respect for any law or any other people. I'd rather throw the baby out with the bath water on this since there's far more bad than good out there. Everytime they hit the streets about deporting criminals, drug dealers etc. The less I care about the ones who I might feel deserve to be here. I'd rather dump them all and deal the with the fallout than take them all and deal with that. They haven't chosen their battles well and they are soley to blame for the disdain people feel about them. Not their ancestors, not the color of their skin....there very own actions and words.

We should care about them because they didn't not pass to the country the way that any one legally came. If they came here legally i agree they are 100% citizens but when they come here illiegally they are taking jobs aaway form our us citizens who need and want them, and the money made from the jobs is sent tight back to mexico and all the countrys illiegals come from. The illiegals are using space wating resoureces ment for other American that pay taxes social secutiy etc....

they waste our land our food and our money. If they come here leagally they are paying for what they are supposed to pay for and being a us citizen.
