Horse-lovers, please help. Is there another word to use in a search that means the same as "neck reigned"?

Thank you so much!

Neck reining is also know as Western reining. It is when you cue the horse to turn by laying the reins against its neck. If you want to turn left, you lay the reins against the right side of the horse's neck. If you want to turn right, you lay the reins against the left side of the horse's neck. The horse moves away from the pressure.

The other way to rein a horse is English, also known as direct or plow reining. That is where you gently pull the reins in the direction you want to go. If you are turning right, you pull the right rein in that direction; if you want to turn left, you pull the left rein in that direction. The horse goes with the pressure.

This is an oversimplified explanation, as you use more than just the reins to communicate with the horse. You also use your legs and your balance.

    Hope this helps some!

    Try in-direct reining.
