The first thing to do is to open the message. Click on it in your Inbox.

    Photos

Any photos attached to an email appear as thumbnails beneath the text of the message. Click the thumbnail image or Scan and Save to Computer to add an image to your own records. Or, if you’d like to save it to your online photo library, click Save to Yahoo! Photos.

Along the bottom bar of the attachment window is a third link: View.

Clicking View beneath an attached image does not open the image immediately for viewing, unfortunately. View first scans the attachment for viruses. When no virus threat is detected, you can click the Download Attachment button to either open or save the image.

    Other types of files

You can either click Preview to look at these attachments (which is a fast way to view them, without opening any new programs), or click Scan and Save to Computer or save them online by clicking Save to Yahoo! Briefcase.
