It's called a bob or swing bob. They are one of the most versatile hairstyles. To add to the list of funny names. I used to keep my hair like that, and my dad would always give me hell for it, and call it the duck butt cutt. haha.

it's definitely called a 'duck's butt' because when you look at the back head-on, it looks like the fluffed up feathers of a duck's butt.

you can actually hear hellogoodbye reference it in their song 'welcome to our record.' forrest says "oh my god, look at her duck's butt...it's just so big...she's just so emo!"
