Peeling suntan???

I have been going to a tanning bed! I finally got the base color that I wanted but I started to peel! How do I prevent my skin from peeling all the way! For example you pull the skin and it keeps peeling and peeling??? p.s. no lectures that tanning is bad for you!!

I would exfoliate shortly before you go tanning, not a few days before. I used to tan when I was in my teens (27 now) and I used a tanning lotion from the salon PLUS an intensive moisturizer at the same time. I would rub the moisturizer all over my body, then apply the tanning lotion. I used to peel a lot on my back. You are burning the top layer of skin - it's not uncommon to peel, but this will help curb that.

Try using a body scrub to exfoliate the skin a few days prior to tanning. Exfoliation will remove the dead, unhealthy skin and provide a fresh surface for tanning. I would not exfoliate too close to tanning. Newly exfoliated skin is extremely sensitive.
