I have a business project due on Thursday and It is a questionire about Apple Inc...?
I choose to do the project on Apple Inc. It is pretty straightforward, but I am having trouble finding the answers for a fewof the questions... I was wondering if anyone might know or might be able to suggest a website where I might be able to find what I'm looking for...
And I've already used Wikipedia...
Here are the 3 questions I am stuck on...
1. Who are the auditors/CPA's?
2. Is there any dependency on other companies, indurty or government?
3. For the 2006 fiscal year were there:
A. Dividends paid
B. Dividends Declared
C. Stock dividends distributed
D. Stock Split
Also, I need to list 3 major competitors and of Apple and I can only think of 2: Microsoft and IBM, anyone know of a third?

Here are the 3 questions I am stuck on...
1. Who are the auditors/CPA's?
This is found in the Annual Report. You want the "Investor Relations" section of their website. It's there.
2. Is there any dependency on other companies, industry or government?
Of course. Where do they get raw materials? (Chips, plastic, monitor screens, etc.) What happens if they don't get them in time. What if the software industry doesn't make Mac software? What if courts regulate what can be downloaded on an iPod?
3. For the 2006 fiscal year were there:
A. Dividends paid
B. Dividends Declared
C. Stock dividends distributed
D. Stock Split
Again, this will all be in the Investor Relations section of their website. Or try the Yahoo Finance stock tracking function.
Also, I need to list 3 major competitors and of Apple and I can only think of 2: Microsoft and IBM, anyone know of a third?
What does Apple make? Who else makes computer hardware? (Do they make software?) Who else makes mp3 players? Look at what products Apple sells, and find another company that makes the same type of product.
Good luck!

My only suggestion is for a competitor. So much of their income is now derived from iPod sales etc, so I would say Sony were up there with other mp3 and portable music sales.
