How do you buy a single share of stock?

I want to buy one share as a gift. How do I do that?

    Buying a single share is basically a novelty. I purchased one share of Dreamworks Animation for about double the share cost. Here is a company that will do it. You can have the share framed if you wish.

  • go to www.oneshare.com.... has gift shares f/ a lot of major companies like disney... I actually bought a share of H-D f/ my bf a couple years ago. they put it in a nice frame and everything too.

    It's not as easy as you might think. You can not purchase stocks on your own. You need to go trough a broker/trader who may charge a lot for their services. Try looking in the phonebook for investment services or financial planning.

    I know Disney does this because I have bought one for my grand daughter and it is framable. It has all the characters it is really beautiful

    Call a finanicial advisor(look in phone book) then go meet with them
