ELMET closed up shop Years ago. Chances are that the only way to redeem it is to check on your local states Unclaimed Money website.

Elmet Inc is no longer a publicly traded company (since 2006).
The stock is worth $6 a share, if it hasn't already been paid.
The value of the stock has likely been turned over to the unclaimed property in the state of the shareholder.
Having a stock certificate does not make you the owner of the stock.
you can purchase stock certificates on ebay.
