My sister wants to get her cartiilge pierced but my dad doesn't want her to. Is it something she'll regret later?

If your sister regrets it later, she can remove the earring and allow the hole to close up. I have my cartilage pierced in one ear and when it got infected once it was kinda painful...but once it healed, it was fine. When it is done by a professional, it doesn't hurt too much...and if she takes proper care of the pierced area, it should be okay. Personally, I like the way my little silver hoop earring looks there.

lol
My sister has over 10 piercings combined on her ears, including 3 cartilage piercings. I've talked to her about it and she told me it hurts a good deal more than having your lobes pierced. It also depends where exactly she wants to have pierced. My sis has a peircing in her ear, the front is in her ear and the back is where the head and the ear meet lol.
If your sis doesnt like it, its no big deal, she just takes it out.
She needs to be careful that she doesnt let it get infected.

No piercing ought to ever be finished with a gun, no longer even earlobes. in the beginning, the weapons are unsanitary and get used many times. they're impossible to absolutely sanitize and that united statesthe danger of an infection. 2d, the weapons shatters the cartilage and it will take lots longer to heal, for that reason increasing the discomfort. A needle WILL harm extra in the process the preliminary piercing, however the discomfort fades lots extra straight away than it may with a gun. i comprehend a superb style of persons will say pass to Claire's and use the gun, yet please use your extra powerful judgment. Piercings have been meant to be finished with needles - the gun is a modern-day invention for shops contained in the mall to enhance their sale and have been truthfully designed for earlobes in ordinary terms. you'll be pushing a quite blunt merchandise (a stud) with a superb style of stress into your cartilage.

Probably. It's not like a normal piercing that you can just take out and let close over if you grow tired of it. Why don't you suggest she get something that will be easier to get rid of?

Nah, make sure she goes to a professional and has it done with a needle to prevent infection. It doesn't hurt and it looks really cool.
I love mine.

If she doesn't like it later, she can just take it out. Its not as permanent as a tattoo.
