No. Should be able to open it using OpenOffice though. www.openoffice.org

You could try saving your document in a different format. WordPerfect will save it as a Word document, or in Rich Text Format, or in a number of other formats. Rich Text is usually readable by other programs.

No. At least, I wasn't able to. You could open it with Word, but not Works.

Not necessarily...it will depend on the versions of each software you're using
