How do you convert 529.875 ft cube to gallons?
I'm trying to see how much water it would take to fill up a 15' wide x 3' deep swimming pool. When I convert it on google, it comes out to like some 336 gallons or something. And that is not right. What I did was the volume formula for a cylinder... Area of base x height. I did ABASE= 3.14 x (7.5 x 7.5) and got 176.625. Then I did 176.625 x 3 (HEIGHT) and got 529.875 ft 3. So that is how much the pool can fill up with water. Can anyone please convert that number into gallons? Thank you.

One cubic foot holds 7.48051945 gallons.
Your calculationg for cubic feet is correct, so the multiplication is simply
529.875 x 7.48051945
= 3963.74024356875 or nearly 3,964 gallons.
