no, they're not the same color at birth and they change at different times for children, normally during the first 6 mts or so. My daughter was born with blue eyes and they turned to brown in 2 mts. My son was born with hazel eyes and they turned to brown in a couple of weeks. But I know some people that say that they had colored eyes when they were children and they were about 6 or 7 when they turned.

my first 2 girls were born blue and are still blue they are 2&3. my third girl was born hazel and turned brown in the first 6 weeks. she is 9 mos and def brown.
i was born with blue eyes and they turned green when i was about 7. now they are less green then they used to be and sometimes hazel.
babies eye color doesn't become permanently set until the first birthday or so. even if the color remains the same since birth, the hue actually lightens, darkens or deepens to become the true pigment they will be forever(of course there are always a few exceptions to the rule as with anything else...read above).

Most babies are born with blue eyes unless they are Asian or African decent. I heard that between 9 months and a year they can change. If they don't change by then they will probably stay the color they were born with.

Most babies are born with blue eyes. They change later on. I dont remember what age my kids eyes changed though. I think it was only after a few weeks.

No, most babies are born with blue eyes, ( unless they are of asian or African race ) then they change with in the first three years. My youngest was born with brown eyes and they stayed, but his father is Asian. My older two were also born with brown eyes, but changed to green as they both take after me. I am caucasian.

Not usually. Most babies eyes are greyish blue and then change in about I would say 6 months give or take some time.

no, Caucasian babies have slate blue eyes, and they change during the first year of life, some babies faster than others. asian or african american babies generally have dark eyes when born, and will change very little. my first sons eyes didnt change color until he was one year, and my seconds sons eyes were dark brown by his second month.
good luck!

My son was born with the darkest eyes I have ever seen, they were almost black, a few days later they were as blue as the sky, and now, at 6, they are more gray.
