Anyone know about an 80's movie w/ muppets and a girl that travels thru a mirror?

I'm looking for help finding a movie (or it could be a tv show) that has puppets and a girl in it from the 80's. The story has something to do with a girl that travels thru a mirror with 'puppet friends' to an alternate world. They follow a brick road that eventually turns them completely upside down. I also remember something about a evil queen protecting a rose that is enclosed in a glass case and the girl traveling through this world has to get the rose out of the glass in order to save someone or herself or something. She travels with what i remember is some sort of elephant or something too. Does anyone know what i'm talking about...eveyone tells me its "alice through the looking glass" but that doesn't seem right. HELP!

Update:

This movie is more "muppet" related than Alice through the looking glass. I know its not ATtLG...i just checked it out on YouTube and it wasn't that movie...the movie i'm thinking of is more "animated" for its time in the girl dealing with muppet characters...her travel is entirely with muppets. Please think more! HELP...thanks a lot.

    It's called "The Hugga Bunch", and it's a 1985 TV movie. Her friend is Hodge Podge the Elephant.

    This kinda sounds like that movie "Return to Oz". Fairuza Balk was a little girl in this movie and I know that they had to travel down a brick road. But I'm not sure if this is right either.

    I think its the Labrinth (sp), a young girl goes looking for her baby brother because someone stole it.

    Sounds like every Disney princess movie morphed with Sesame Street and doing some serious drugs.
