WMP Playback Issues?
Every time I go to play a video on WMP, especially avi, it will get choppy (audio not matching up with video). It's usually only avi. WMV files usually work. I downloaded the divx codex to see if that would fix the problem and it seemed to work but some files still mess up. It's crazy because this is a brand new computer with a large memory and fast processor and my old crappy computer ran better than this lol. Does anyone know what could be causing these files to screw up like this? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

This problem has pertained to me. Windows right now is having a current issue with video playback with other codecs. Pluggins will just make it more worse. For now, i would suggest using VLC Media player. It is the best video and music player out there that is free. It plays nearly ALL video types and music. It is a great player.
