    I would strongly suggest a Canon Powershot, they are easy to use, easy to upload/transfer photos, not too pricey, rated best on consumer reports, and have outstanding quality.

    Even though I personally own this camera, I would still like to highly recommend the purchase of a Nikon Coolpix L10 for the following reasons:

    1. Besides taking well-exposed hi-quality 5 megapixel pictures, it uses a standard set of rechargeable double AA batteries which last a very long time;

    2. Has a 3x optical zoom;

    3. The flash setting for "red-eye" correction is on the navigator wheel and not within a submenu;

    4. It's very small and light;

    5. Uses inexpensive SD memory cards;

    6. The digital video feature takes wonderful "sound" videos which are noise free. It records the piano very well with it's built-in microphone;

    7. It comes with a USB 2.0 transfer cable which you connect to your USB computer port;

    8. And the price is a mere $120 [sold at Samy's Camera, Staples.com.]

    Good luck!

    Canon is good. I have the A530, which is A 5mp 4opt zoom.

    It's pretty good and the pics are great. That model is A little older now by A year. They do have similar models around $150 that are 6mp 4opt. They do have some sleek cameras also. Their only downfall is they don't have the easiest interface, but the pic quality makes up for that.

    Another suggestion is to go to Circuit city.com and look at the customer reviews for their cameras. That's what I do when I look for electronics. :):):)

    Small and sleek? I may as well go for a third shot with this answer tonight...

    Get the Canon Powershot SD1000, which is just a bit over $200 if you stick to the all-silver model. It's 7.1 MP, too.

    Canon SD1000 (IXUS 70): http://www.steves-digicams.com/2007_reviews/sd1000...

    Casio Z75 is a great choice, nice and thin, lightweight, shoots photos and video with sound. Easy to use controls and a 2.5" screen to view.

    Try www.besybuy.com, www.samys.com, ww.costco.com

    Recommmend a Scandisk memory card, about 2GB.

    Check you Sunday paper for ad sales or coupons.
