Am I being a wimp?
My hair is nearly to my waist in the back; it's baby fine and it tangles easily. I keep wanting to get it cut, but my husband cries like a girl when I talk about it, so I don't...
I have it braided right now, and I'll have to brush 5 minutes to get the tangles out!

As a fellow sufferer of fine hair, I can honestly say it looks thicker and behaves much better when it is shorter. It's hard to keep hair looking like it has a style if it's much longer than your bra strap. My daughter's hair was so long she could almost sit on it. She got it cut mid-back about a month ago and she loves it. It looks SO much better than the 'drapes' she was hiding behind. However, that having been said, keep your husbands feelings in mind since he's the one who has to look at it most of the time, but do what makes you feel good about yourself because its YOUR hair.

You do not need his permission to cut your hair, it IS your hair. There are many styles you can choose from, you don't have to have a buzz cut. Talk to a stylist, before you decide. They can help you by offering advice about what styles and products that help prevent knots and would flatter your face. If you are frustrated daily about your hair, it is time for a change. Your husband married you, not your hair. He'll get used to it, and be happier if you are.

I think if you want to get it cut, & you have thought long & hard about it you should. Especially if it's that much of a hassle. I think your boy friend should understand or at least try to. Maybe go like half way with him & just try fetting it cut a few inches at a time, that way you both have time to adjust.

You go get it cut. It is amazing how much some men will fight change and then find that you look fabulous after! Then they will gripe and complain about you growing it long again..
Happy Birthday to you!

Don't just cut it, donate what you do cut to "Locks of Love". They use donated hair for kids with cancer, etc., that lose their hair. It IS your hair and maybe if there is a "cause", he won't mind so much.

(One of my co-workers did this with her 2 pre-teen daughters. They were very proud of themselves)

Who pooped in the Butcher's cereal this A.M.?
Anyhoo, cut it. Just go ahead and do it, and when you get back he'll love it.
Maybe you might just layer it-- mine is, and I occasionally just trim it me-self. But remember, you're beautiful either way. ♥
