Hi,
I had to stop using beds too because it was costing too much and got annoyed with fake tan. I've found the best thing is Garnier Summer Body - one of those body lotions with a little fake tan. It's so much easier, you can dress pretty much straight after application and there's no streaks. It builds up to a natural looking colour too - it's not orange!

I am also pale but I accept it, and embrace it. If you must have that glow you should simply get Mystic Tan aor spray tans.
Tanning beds ar every dangerous, don't do them ever again just 20-30 minutes in a tanning bed is equal to a whole day out on the beach in the middle of summer. Its terrible for your skin cells. Which puts you at high risk for Melanoma.
Just think of it this way, do fake tans, and use sunblock. Your fair skin will thank you for it when your older. You'll have barely any wrinkles or sunspots.
So avoid tanning and go the spray tan route.

Try a spray tan called SunFx - it's the one that celebrities use. You do need to have it done in a salon. It is vary natural and done to suit your own skin colour. Costs about £25 and lasts for between 7 and 10 days - you can top it up for about £12. Very good even tan, not streaking, not orangey - looks like you have been on your hols! It's great.

Get a pre-tan accelerator! They really wake up the melatonin in the skin, and will help you achieve a nice colour even if you don't normally tan. Check out Ebay, QVC etc. Use a good sun protection factor too and exfoliate. Preparation before you go into the sun will all help you get there!

you will possibly no longer have wiped off the surplus properly. i do no longer do spray tanning, i take advantage of the beds, yet I had a chum that got here out of a twig tan looking extraordinarily streaky and merely undeniable destructive. It became her first time doing it, so she became slightly frightened and did no longer wipe the stuff off flippantly. That became probable the problem.
