Does anyone have a good guess when the death toll in Iraq will reach 4000?

Check out all the neo-con responders who are trying to make this catastrophic situation positive. They say that 4,000 is nothing compared to other wars. But that is not the point. The point is that these 4,000 Americans and the nearly 700,000 Iraqis have died for no reason.

If Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, ties to al-Qaeda and were a threat to the security of the United States then 4,000 would be okay.

Unfortunately, Iraq used to be against terrorism and we blew it up and now it is a breeding ground for terrorism. Saddam Hussein, as bad as he was hated terrorists. He wanted to be the sole power in Iraq and killed any terrorist that came into his country or attempted to gain a following in his country.

Before we went into Iraq, Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaeda would not have even dreamed of going into Iraq to set up terrorist operations. If Osama bin Laden would have stepped foot into Iraq, Saddam would have murdered him. But thanks to bush, al-Qaeda from all over the middle east now can enter Iraq, set up operations, and recruit ordinary Iraqis.

The Bush Butcher’s Bill: Officially, 84 US Military Deaths in Iraq from 2 through 28 May, 2005 – Official Total of 1,747 US Dead to date (and rising)

U.S. Military Personnel who died in German hospitals or en route to German hospitals have not previously been counted. They total about 6,210 as of 1 January, 2005. The ongoing, underreporting of the dead in Iraq, is not accurate. The DoD is deliberately reducing the figures. A review of many foreign news sites show that actual deaths are far higher than the newly reduced ones. Iraqi civilian casualties are never reported but International Red Cross, Red Crescent and UN figures indicate that as of 1 January 2005, the numbers are just under 100,000.

Note: There is excellent reason to believe that the Department of Defense is deliberately not reporting a significant number of the dead in Iraq. We have received copies of manifests from the MATS that show far more bodies shipped into Dover AFP than are reported officially. The educated rumor is that the actual death toll is in excess of 7,000. Given the officially acknowledged number of over 15,000 seriously wounded, this elevated death toll is far more realistic than the current 1,400+ now being officially published. When our research is complete, and watertight, we will publish the results along with the sources. In addition to the evident falsification of the death rolls, at least 5,500 American military personnel have deserted, most in Ireland but more have escaped to Canada and other European countries, none of whom are inclined to cooperate with vengeful American authorities. Only a fraction of 1% compared to Vietnam. Iraq is nothing compared to Vietnam. You may be to young to remember. It took Nixon to get us out , that is why Dems wanted him impeached. Sound familiar.

I cannot belive you! you are definately a sick person that have no respect whatsoever for life or our fine soldiers defending our country in Irak and Afghanistan. The number of casualties shouldnt be seen as just a number, its a mom or dad that will never see his kid again, a kid that wont get a kiss good night, a little girl that wont see mommie again, its the brother that wont be there for his sister anymore.
