  • Concealed Weapons in Canada?

Looking to travel to Canada soon and I know that I cannot carry my concealed handgun into Canada, but what about a Concealed Defensive knife? The knife is not spring loaded, gravity activated or any other mechanical features. It is strictly a fixed blade defensive knife.

    Thanks

  • DVD to Ipod Legal Issues?

Is it legal to rip DVD movies that I own and place them onto my Ipod? It would be for personal use only when I am traveling. No making copies or anything of that nature.

I've been told it's a gray area due to the fact that it is legal to make copy of media for your own use, but breaking the copyright protection with a DVD Ripper is illegal.

If legal or legal, please show a link to the info.

  • Crestor and/or Propecia (Finasteride) Cause Memory Loss?

My father has recently had some minor issues with memory loss such as forgetting simple conversations, or misplacing items. More than normal, and more than enough to take notice by me, his son.

He has recently started taking (2) new medicines. Crestor for high cholesterol and Propecia or Finasteride for minor prostate problems. Is anyone currently taking these medications or previously taken these medications and had similar side effects such as memory loss, or a moment of confusion, forgetting conversations, etc?

Or does anyone in the medical field think this could be related to old age (He's 62), or maybe something more serious such as alzheimers?

    Thanks

  • Faux brick on cinder blocks that is coated with stucco?

I have a cinder block foundation on my house, approximately 6 bricks high from footer to bottom of the siding. It has a stucco like coating that is cracking at the seams of the cinder blocks, chipping, and falling off in places. I am thinking of putting on some faux bricks, but am curious to know if it can be applied on top of the stucco coating? Either way, what is the best way to remove the stucco from the cinder blocks?

  • Best Puncture Resistant Gloves for Corrections?

I've been working in Corrections for 2 years. 1 1/2 Years with the State of WV and 6 months with the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Needle sticks are getting more and more common and I was curious to know which puncture resistant gloves are the best for dexterity/mobility?

I own a pair of TurtleSkin Search Gloves, and granted they do stop a needle effortlessly, I cannot perform a proper cell search or pat search due to the lack of mobility.

    All help is greatly appreciated.
